The first graders are learning about biomimicry. They had a challenge to design a prototype helmet, inspired by a turtle, to protect a child while riding his/her bicycle. #biomimicry
Next week Middle School Student Council is hosting Spirit Week! Check out the dress-up days scheduled for the week.
Oasis students have organized a community clean-up project! The project is lead by Ariana Wolf and Kaitlyn Hert as part of the LEAD-On program. The two day clean-up will take part at Oat's Park the next two Fridays. Volunteers will meet at Oats Park from noon to 4 p.m. and be provided with trash bags, latex gloves, and refreshments. Additionally the first 25 volunteers will receive a free t-shirt for helping.
Kindergarten classes made bread! After reading about the process of making bread, the students went through it. From learning more about growing the wheat and to the threshing process to hands-on kneading it and finally baking the bread!
In honor of military families and their children we will be celebrating Purple Up! Day for Military Kid tomorrow (4/13). Students are encouraged to dress-up in PURPLE! There is no cost for this dress-up day. We appreciate all our military families and students do. #purpleup
Oasis hosted a league golf match yesterday at the Fallon Golf course with 9 schools in attendance. Trevor Halloran won 1st place, and Connor Oceguera took 7th! Thank you Marty Davis and the entire Fallon Golf course staff for helping put on an awesome tourney!! #golf #community
