Nevada Revised Statute requires that the Oasis Academy Board of Directors have certain expertise on the board. At this time we are looking for two new members to join our Oasis Academy board who meet those requirements: financial or accounting background, education background, human resources and/or law. Looking at our current board make-up and future projects, it is critical that we add a board member who has financial or an accounting background for one of the two seats. Please submit your resume to Samantha Gomes, Board President, at sgomes@oanv.org. Please feel free to contact Samantha with any questions you may have. Thank you in advance for considering taking on this important role.

Mrs. Tisdale presented second graders with the challenge of creating a new glue for the school. Students have been working hard learning about various materials, observing their properties and what changes occur when you add new materials to them. They have had to think like scientists and have had many trials and errors. They then performed a sticky test to help solidify what ingredients we will need to make the new glue. #STEM #challenge #poweroflearning
