Kindergarten through fifth graders enjoyed a fun-filled last day of school with the annual Oasis Field Day.
Thank you to volunteers led by Erin Griffin, students were able to enjoy a variety of activities. These included bounce houses and other inflatable play structures, a mechanical bull, and rock climbing wall. The Churchill County Fire Department also provided a firetruck with sprinkler for the kids to keep cool.
The day would not have been complete without plenty of treats. Students could enjoy snow cones, cotton candy, and much more throughout the half day of school.
“Field day has become a favorite tradition at Oasis Academy. I am so grateful to Erin and her team of volunteers because this day takes months of planning and lots of volunteers to pull it off. These volunteers help create amazing memories for our students who, after a year of working hard, deserve this day!” said Melissa Mackedon, Oasis Chief Executive Officer.
